FAQ

Q. Are all your products individually hand-crafted?
A. Yes, each fused glass item is lovingly crafted in my workshop.
Q. Do you offer kiln firing services?
A. Yes, I have a Skutt Firebox 14 and a Kilncare Cub Fuser in my workshop. You can arrange to have your own pieces fired in these kilns. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Q. Do you run workshops?
A. Yes, please check myWorkshops page for all current dates. If you have a specific workshop requirement for yourself or a small group, please contact me.
Q. Can children attend your workshops?
A. I am more than happy to accommodate younger people, but they must be fully accompanied by a responsible adult at all times due to child safeguarding requirements.
Q. When will my item be ready for collection after a workshop?
A. All work needs to be fired at least once, sometimes more than once, in the kilns. Items will usually be ready one week after the workshop, but in some cases this may be a bit longer.
Q. Do you undertake commissions?
A. Yes, I would be delighted to discuss your requirements and give you a price quote prior to undertaking any work.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Q. When will I receive items I buy from your online shop?
A. I process sales on the day they are received and paid for. Items are normally sent as 1st Class Royal Mail packages, with a 1-2 working day delivery time. Please contact me if you have any special requirements.
Q. What is your returns policy?
A. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me as soon as possible (within 14 days of receipt of the item) in order that I can arrange for a refund or replacement.
Q. Are your earrings and necklaces safe to wear?
A. Yes. All my jewellery findings comply with the nickel toxic metal requirements. Whether you buy jewellery from myself or elsewhere, please be very careful to ensure that you are purchasing from a reputable seller who complies with these rules. As a warning, there are some sellers who offer very cheap products, but use inferior materials that can cause irritation and other problems.
My glass pendants and earrings are fully annealed in the kiln and cold worked to ensure they are beautifully smooth and comfortable to wear. They will withstand everyday wear. I do not recommend that you wear them when swimming or in the shower. Avoid spraying perfumes and other products onto your jewellery.
